Howdy, friends, I've got some things to unload. We'll start with this spicy meme to set the mood:
After thinking long and hard about my life, priorities, dreams and ambitions, I've decided to call it quits on PMD:RAD. It's been a long time coming, and yes, you called it, we know. but here we are.
I know, lots of you will be upset about this, but allow me a moment to explain.
It's always been a personal dream of mine to make comics and be dang good at it. Heck, I've been making them off and on for over half my life at this point, and boy howdy what a ride it's been. 5 years ago, I decided to permanently shut down my original comic, Idano, in favor of working on RAD instead. I justified this to myself by saying it would be good practice, something to prepare me to make the Idano I really wanted. And y'know what? I was super right. This was a magnificent bit of practice and i've met so many wonderful people and learned SO FRIGGIN MUCH because of it, for which i'm extremely grateful. Its been an honor to have such enthusiastic and supportive readers through all this time, and i sincerely thank you all for joining me for the ride.
The decision to quit comes from a bit of what i can only describe as an early midlife crisis. I'm in my mid-twenties, and thinking back on RAD and everything I've done leading up to it has told me that the only thing noteworthy I have to show for all the work i've done is an overambitious comic to which i have no rights to. I can't publish books for it, I can't market myself with it in any professional capacity, and Senpai Nintendo will never notice me unless it is to sue me(lol). I feel that I don't have the freedom to write the story I really want to write because of the simple fact that it IS pokemon. And my dudes, it's not easy continuing to work on something that can never be what you want it to be or need it to be. So instead of pouring my soul and time and energy into RAD, this thing that will definitely get me nowhere in life, I've decided to refocus and put it into something that'll be more fulfilling. Something I dont have to be embarrassed that i worked so hard for so long on, to be proud of, to not be the source of the constant nagging insecurity in the back of my mind that people only read it because it's Pokemon.
I'll admit, im really dang sad to do this, since i HAVE worked so hard on it, and i've written so much still that will never see the light of day in the way it was supposed to. I've gotten attached to these characters I made in a way that I didn't expect, and i wont lie to you, it hurts to put them away(really, i cried about it. i am manly as HEck). But, it's better for my sanity and long-term self-esteem for me to bid RAD a fond farewell while the gettin's good and instead try to find my place in life on my own merits, and not the property of somebody else.
I'm leaving the archive up just in case i ever do decide to revisit it, but don't get your hopes up.
So in conclusion, I want to say, thank you, really, from the bottom of my tiny, shriveled up heart, for reading my comic, and enjoying what i've done. Thank you for your support, I hope you'll join me for my future project, but if not, I understand.
Take care folks.
tl;dr: Im quitting RAD because art is hard/i am selfish and my energy is better spent on comics that I own completely

I'd like to add onto this to talk about a few things:
1. I want to make it perfectly clear that I'm not dropping RAD JUST because I can't make money off of it. The reality is that I probably wont be able to make money of my next comic either for at least a few years, but i want to be able to do that if i felt so inclined. My goal isn't to break into the comic book industry. It's just a nice option to have at your disposal if you want to publish books or pins or other fun stuff for the people that like what you're doing. It's also fun to think about having a table at a convention full of Your Own Stuff where you can meet and talk to fans, which is another thing I've always wanted to experience but couldnt with RAD. All of these things are things I can't do with RAD, even if I wanted to, and if im gonna spend so much time on something, time that i'll never get back for as long as I live, I should just go ahead and put it into something that i have complete freedom over. That's what it's about. Freedom, more than anything else.
I will still keep posting comics to Jeeves for free. My desire is simply to have something that is mine and only mine without having to worry about someone bringing the law hammer on me if i do Whatever I Want with it.
2. I am trying to compile a summary of the story onwards, which I will post when it's ready. My work notes for the comic were done in a simple but very extensive outline, and with all of the different arcs i had planned, its a lot of stuff to condense into something of reasonable length and detail.
3. I have no plans to release my comic to anybody to continue. I'm not interested in having anyone come on board to take over my work, since i'm very particular about the portrayal of my characters and I honestly don't think a new guy would be able to do them any justice whatsoever. there's also the fact that inherently, having a comic that's semi-popular on the internet is bound to attract people who are fame-hungry mooches, and that was never the point of RAD in the first place.
So, that said, any copies or "continuations" you might see pop up are unauthorized and I would ask that you ignore them if you see them.
Most of you have been very understanding and respectful of my decision, and I'm touched by all the supportive comments you've all left. I hope this answers a few questions ad clarifies some things that may have come off awkward or ambiguous in the first post.
Thank you again. Most of you are lovely people, and those that are, I'm legitimately humbled by you.

I personally understand, and I'm sorry it had to come to this, really. I hate to see these guys go, what with how developed they were and the mystery of each one's pasts.
About 3 years ago I did, in fact, find this comic because I was looking for something that starred one of my favorites, Oshawott. Not only did I find that, I found an original comic that wasn't a cheap rip off of Explorers of Sky or something, and that actually taught me storytelling, art references, and had realistic scenarios. This comic gave me something to look forward to after school, and inspired me to begin drawing and developing characters that have been rewritten over the course of those years.
Your art skills have improved a lot. I'm glad this gave you the practice you were looking for.
I hope you find great things in life, and thanks from me. <3
September 1st, 2018, 6:05 pm
Well, it was fun to read anyways. Thank you for what you have done, and good luck.
September 1st, 2018, 6:06 pm
Sadly, another beloved comic bites the dust...
I respect your decision. Thank you for providing such a great story up to this point, I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I've reread this comic over, and over, and over, and over again, and being completely honest, I cried a bit too. And although many will be truly upset over this beloved comics abrupt ending, we can all look forward towards your works in the future. I know that is what I will be doing!
Until then, enjoy life, you truly deserve it.
September 1st, 2018, 6:12 pm
Tbh your artwork is gorgeous and if you ever start to write a new comic, I'll defiantly check it out! Good luck in what you do next and I hope you can find some fulfilling project that brings you lots and lots of joy!
September 1st, 2018, 6:14 pm
: Thanks, man, i'll probably shamelessly plug my next comic here when i start posting it, lol.
Thank you. Sincerely. <3
September 1st, 2018, 6:19 pm
: Oooh I'm already hyped <3!
September 1st, 2018, 6:12 pm
My only question would be, what were you planning on doing with the series? How would the characters change, how would they grow with the events that unfolded throughout the story? And most importantly, how was Del so popular with the ladies, and how can I be like him???
(I need to know the last one, like really bad xD)
September 1st, 2018, 6:35 pm
We'll I gotta say I'm a little disappointed but only a little. But I understand so I will stick by you and wait to see what will happen in the future.
September 1st, 2018, 6:39 pm
You've got the support in all of your followers, all of us. We support you in your decisions, and we await your next work.
Just don't take too long, 'kay? ;D
September 1st, 2018, 6:42 pm
@Zeus: haha, I'll try. Theres still much to be done before i can share, but hey, rest assured that it's coming.
Thank you, so much. Your support means more to me than you probably realize
September 1st, 2018, 6:57 pm
: I do know how much support means to people. I've had so many people I know have had their lives changed simply due to the support me and others gave them.
I feel so very good giving support because I know how much it effects people and how happy it makes them, so knowing I can support a comic creator I adore, and make them happy, it gives me so much happiness in return.
So thank you too.

So, in that case, where will your original stuff be posted?
September 1st, 2018, 6:46 pm
@Tom Pokénutter: here, and possibly Tapas. Just under my other account, MatchaGhost. I'll be sure to link it here when it starts to go live, for interested parties, but it might be a while yet.
September 1st, 2018, 7:07 pm
Why ya gotta go break this guy's heart like that? Serious though, I am gonna be sad to see it go, but if you think it best to say goodbye then I'll be here waving a bandanna as it sails away. Thanks for the constantly great times, and thanks for being honest about ending it here. I wish you nothing but the best in whatever future endeavors you have. Stay RAD.
September 1st, 2018, 7:48 pm
: well, my guy, you're in good company. i broke my own heart too, lmao.
thanks for sticking with me all this time. It's been a pleasure seeing you in my comments for so many years. :)
September 1st, 2018, 7:41 pm
My first comment, and already my last! ;n; So sad to see this comic go, but I totally understand the decision to focus on the type of content that will give you what you need in life. Focus on your original works and do great things! I believe in your talents to do great things. :D
I was wondering, would you be willing to tell us what you had planned for this comic? I'm sure I can't be the only one who was really curious about the twists and turns you had planned. If you're not comfortable with that, I understand, but it'd be nice to at least have a good conclusion to the story!
September 1st, 2018, 7:45 pm
: right now, i'm not sure. i just need some time to clear my head but i might post a summary at some point that clears up some of the loose ends, if not all of them.
we'll see though.
Thank you <3
September 1st, 2018, 7:49 pm
Sad to see this great comic go - especially because it was my first PMD comic - but it was nice to read, and if it must go, then thanks for the great story. I wish you good luck for future comics/art!
September 1st, 2018, 8:04 pm
Even though youre stopping drawing RAD please don't delete it ever. Period. It is awesome and i want to reread it over and over again.
September 1st, 2018, 8:35 pm
Waaaaaah I am so sad for you to do this but I understand goodbye well not a good way to start my 18 year old birthday.
September 1st, 2018, 8:38 pm
Well on one hand I'm pretty sad cause I do like pokemon an this was one of the most high quality pieces of fan work out there. On the other I always encourage people to create their own thing so that it can grow in any way they want.
Have you thought about creating a zip archive of the comic to download, to help preserve it?
September 1st, 2018, 8:41 pm
@MarkusAurel: i'm not deleting it off Jeeves, so no, I dont think I really need to make a zip archive. In the event that Jeeves dies or the internet explodes, then I'll release a zip for people, but otherwise there's not much point imo.
September 1st, 2018, 8:49 pm
This is really upsetting. I completely understand though, art is hard my dude... But I wanted to thank you. Thank you for presenting such amazing art into the world in the form of this comic. HECK you've been one of my biggest inspirations for the past year for me to start my own comic on here, which I am finally getting around to doing!!! If you'll even read this comment. I want you to know that your work, your art, your comic, it was not a waste. Not one bit of it. I'm looking forward to working on and putting out my PMD comic now in memory of you and what you've inspired in me. Thank you
September 1st, 2018, 9:01 pm
: i really appreciate it. Dont make anything "in (my) memory" though, im not dead or quitting comics forever. I just want to work on something i have complete creative freedom over.
Im touched to know I inspired you. I hope you go far, my dude. Godspeed.
September 1st, 2018, 9:00 pm
That's alright! Do yourself first, for yourself, and better yourself!
September 1st, 2018, 9:05 pm
Aww, that's a shame....
Vaporeon is cool
September 1st, 2018, 9:11 pm
All good things must come to an end sadly
September 1st, 2018, 9:19 pm
I had a feeling this was coming, but it's still kinda sad. I'll probaly re-read this every no and again just because. (even if it's just the last few pages, because watching our protagonist vent her feelings is incredibly well done and something I've always felt should really be in every pmd-style comic.) So thanks for the great quality comic! Your characters are fleshed out well and the art is great.
If you'd like a suggestion, come back here just to post links to other comics you end up publishing, you've got a bunch of fans here and I'm sure they, like me, would be happy to follow you to whatever comic comes next.
September 1st, 2018, 9:45 pm
To have what you want is better to have what others want
September 1st, 2018, 10:11 pm
Well this was disappointing, but ultimately not unexpected due to the update schedule. Just another fic to add to the graveyard.
Ultimately I would have been happy to wait for a year even for an update, but the decision lies with you. But if you are indeed thinking of going professional in the comic book industry, beware. It simply ain't what it used to be.
Though hopefully you indie adventures may fare well, we wish you the best of luck in your endeavors. So with that, we bid you adieu and farewell forevermore from Smack Jeeves. It was a good run while it lasted.
Knock em dead champ.
September 1st, 2018, 10:14 pm
I'll miss this, but I understand. I still kind of wish I could find out why Rodney hates humans so much...
September 1st, 2018, 10:22 pm
Damn it, why does it seem like all the comics I made my account for are ending at the same time? In seriousness though I respect your decision and I can tell that it sure as hell wasn't easy to make. I look forward to anything else you make in the future because your artwork and sense of humor kicks serious ass.
September 1st, 2018, 10:28 pm
Welp that sucks… have a nice comment
As I said in the title it sucks that RAD is canceled but hey, sometimes life gets in the way and I wish you good luck in the future, as things don’t always work out for ya
But in the mean time, if you wouldn’t mind, perhaps you could tell us where you planned on taking the story? I know it’ll be naggin a few others
September 1st, 2018, 11:02 pm
Thank you for making that amazing comic. One that really stood out among many others. Yes, it's sad but if you see no reason in continuing with it anymore, it's understandable. Good luck for your future projects or whatever you want to do. quick question: is it possible for you to show us how the story will continue through a small summary or similar? That would be great. I'll have to thank you again here for all the work und beautiful art/story you brought to us. Thank you.
September 1st, 2018, 11:29 pm
What is your next comic called PLZ ANSWER ME I LOVE YOUR WORK!!!!!!!!
September 1st, 2018, 11:39 pm
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I'll enjoy rereading it too and showing it to people as a good example of PMD.
September 2nd, 2018, 12:39 am
It's been a great run and while I'm sad to see it go, I'm behind your reason. Best of fortunes in your future projects! :D

Is making a short epilogue page for RAD out of the question? Maybe just a few paragraphs explaining whatever became of our heroes or a little pic to go with it... If not, I understand. Art is haaard... And you've done an outstanding job with the story and the visuals!
September 2nd, 2018, 1:45 am
The end of an era...
This webcomic is what got me into webcomics 2 years ago. I am sad to see it end, but I know that what you make next will be just as great to read, and I look forward to reading your future comics. Until next time.

Ok that makes me a little bit sad, because your we're first person, where i saw your comic story and i was really into it.
i was waiting for 3-4 months that your gonna post something and there it is...
i'm a bit upset about it but everything will be alright, i still got a few people who are doing comic stories but well..this is it..
i hope your gonna post something one day :D
take really care you yourself, Phantom <3
September 2nd, 2018, 2:26 am
It has been a ride, and I'll always look back at this as my favorite mystery dungeon comic. Thank you for giving us it so far
September 2nd, 2018, 7:27 am
so you're still going to be doing art, (possibly comics but i can't say what you want to work on, obviously lol,) but under something you own the rights to? That's super cool! I for one, can't wait to see what you have in store because even though its kinda sad to see this project of yours go, I've been way more impressed with your general art style and general quality of your uploads. You might not even get to read this because i see that you're already getting bombarded with comments, but i wish you luck in your next future project and i want to support you in the future any way i can too!
September 2nd, 2018, 11:06 am
No news during weeks, even months, and PLOP, a give up message...
And ... that's not the first time you gave up a comic like this ? and you don't even write a summary of what happened in the story afterwards to end it correctly ?
Welp it's mean but I'm out of all your work since you're not a reliable comics maker. Yeah I know it's hard and time consuming but whatever...
Still, good luck and fun in your life and with your others works!
September 2nd, 2018, 1:34 pm
: I bet you enjoy licking scrotums
September 2nd, 2018, 2:18 pm
: That's called be polite and civilised, but you don't know this kind of things I guess
September 2nd, 2018, 2:22 pm
: You don't have to be ashamed of your burning desire to lick scrotums, it's okay, you're safe here
September 2nd, 2018, 2:28 pm
: Don't put your desires on the others thanks
September 2nd, 2018, 2:30 pm
: Did you just ask me if you could lick my scrotum? I'm not comfortable with that
September 8th, 2018, 1:28 pm
: She said that she's probably going to write a summary, she just needs some time to clear her head first.
September 12th, 2018, 11:14 pm
: Dude if you're that pressed about an artist making a decision they thought a lot about because you don't like it then I'm pretty sure the creator can thrive quite well without your support lmao.
September 2nd, 2018, 12:07 pm
Y'know what? Fair enough. While I will absolutely miss this comic and these characters, I can understand the feeling of spending a lot of time working on something you don't fully own the rights to.
I wish you all the best in future projects and cannot wait to see more from you~
September 2nd, 2018, 12:35 pm
*Pulls out Gilded Shovel*
Dampe gets another job. Two more and it'll rank up.
September 2nd, 2018, 3:47 pm
For what it's worth, I wouldn't necessarily say there's any shame in a well-done Pokemon comic, even if it can never be monetized. Crummy fan comics are a dime a dozen, good ones are a lot harder to come by. This was one of the good ones and then some, and I would like to thank you for what we did get.
(Though, on an unrelated note, even the worst Pokemon fan comics have a ways to go before they approach the awfulness of certain recent AAA racing games.)
September 2nd, 2018, 3:49 pm
I'm sad to see this comic go. You have a really big talent for both art and writing, so I hope to be able to see the next project you do!
This does leave me with a couple of questions; who were the pokemon Del was looking for, and what was the disaster the Avis was meant to solve?
September 2nd, 2018, 4:09 pm
So sad, but I still have a question
What will happen with the rest of the plot? Itstill have a lot of misteries....and I was thinking, what if you give the rights of the comic to someone else that wanna give an ending to the comic? It could be someone that you chose on a contest of drawings, he/she would just draw the ending of the current chapter and the ending of the comic. It would be a radical change, but I think this comic deserves a good ending, plz answer what you think :,c
September 2nd, 2018, 7:25 pm
This was an amazing comic to read, and I can't wait to see what you bring forward with your own characters and your own story. you have an amazing style and way of telling a story that I believe you can do this. I'll miss reading the story, but its just a Fan Comic, and you can only go so far with it.
best wishes and good luck and thank you for the time and effort you have given us to write and draw this

It’s all good
Thank you for creating this comic. It was the sole reason I ever became interested in webcomics. I enjoyed it while it lasted and I hope you enjoy what’s in store for your future.
September 3rd, 2018, 1:32 am
To be fair you do own the character perosonities as well as the the plot. So even if you don't want to continue it under Pokemon, I would still recommend salvaging the parts that you made yourself.
September 3rd, 2018, 2:55 am
I think that is a great idea. I scrapped an Invader Zim comic concept after coming to basically the same realization.
(Though tbh the exposure you've gotten, and may still get, from this comic will likely give you a leg up on your next original comic ;)
I wish you luck on your next project and am very exited to follow along to see more of your art.
September 3rd, 2018, 3:09 am
Oh also, just some, business advice or something?
You could probably make some okay money on the side by doing Pokemon OC commissions, maybe on Deviantart or Tumblr?
You are quite good at drawing pokemon, and with great expressions and interesting poses. I feel like you could find people who would want to commission you if you set up a page with art from your comic.
It might even be nice to take a break from other work and just draw some pokemon now and then.
Just something to consider later on after you've figured other things out.
September 3rd, 2018, 3:44 am
Was looking forward to seeing Avis learning some moves, too :'3 I loved reading this comic, I literally would come back every day fingers crossed for a new update. There was some great characterization and love for the PMD-verse. I'm upset but glad that you are pursuing your own interests. Thanks for the fun read!
September 3rd, 2018, 5:50 am
if you could, Would you some time return to it after a while or if you changed your mind?
September 3rd, 2018, 6:54 am
Ugh, and we just lost the morrgin, well, I hope you come back someday. I hate it when stories get real interesting only to end abruptly, but it is your comic and you can do what you please, I wish you luck, but again, I hope you return someday.
September 3rd, 2018, 12:03 pm
It's ok!These things happen. At least there's a comic as good as this one was. It's"The stars shine bright".I wish you good luck with your next comics.
September 4th, 2018, 12:19 am
Well this is a little upsetting, isn't it?
I found this comic just a few days ago - when this update was posted, in actual fact, and it's a shock to see that it has been halted. Nonetheless, it has made me want to see more of your work (especially the other comic you hope to work on) - where can I find it?
September 4th, 2018, 7:55 pm
@Arnison: Sorry you missed it.
I'm most active on Twitter, so if you're interested in following my work, that would be your best bet. My username there is @
I don't have a page set up for my next comic project yet. It's too early in development for that, but I'll be plugging it on Twitter and wherever else when it goes up.

Well, It will be sad to see this go, but ill re-read this over and over again, just because of how much hard work you put into the characters, who, may i say were fricken beautiful jfc your a r t i s s o g o o d
But life comes first, So Do what you think is right, and do whatever your heart desires (except for something bad i dont wanna find out you're hurt ;-; )
But seriously, it was one hell of a good ride, thanks for the time you put into this comic, and keep doing what you love! (^-^)
September 4th, 2018, 1:09 pm
The comics was good. I very enjoyed it. Thank you you shared it for us. Your Uxie was the best. I mean, as you portrayed him, and the graphic also was amazing.
As an artist, I want to tell you that you are amazing, and never give up :)

I'm pretty disappointed mainly cause I spend so much time dubbing your comic for it to just end.
September 5th, 2018, 1:27 am
Well... shit, this is going to be permanent cliff hanger, I fell in love with the characters and the art style. *sigh* Maybe we'll get lucky and someone will continue this awesome story, or at least as a fanfic. ;w;
September 5th, 2018, 3:39 am
I'm really bummed by this.
I discovered it on YouTube as a comic dub and it immediately caught my interest.
The story was really interesting and I like the psychological elements, such as Avis's issues. It makes the story much more realistic and I was really curious in her development. I found all characters interesting and was really keen on finding out the mysteries yet to be resolved.
But what I liked most probably was the art. It is gorgeous. But even more, even though the design of some Pokémon deviate a lot from the original -taking Rodney as big example-, you made them work incredibly well.
Heck, you made Gurdurr (a Pokémon I consider ugly) look so much more appealing.
PMD:RAD really got me hooked and got me to find other PkmN fan comics. So, yeah, this really came as a disappointment I understand your decision. Best wishes to you.

This, though albeit is unsurprising, is surprising and saddening to find. Nevertheless thank you for putting your time and effort into this comic @
. I've enjoyed reading every page and seeing how the story played out with your amazing and stylish art. When it comes to starting your next/new comic, I'll give it a whirl to see if I like it or not - I very much was one of your readers who read this 'cause it was Pokémon, haha. I'm not one to usually comment on stuff but I had to here to show how much I enjoyed reading this. Just thank you again for making this.
Also don't say ya have a shrivelled up heart, ya have one big sweet heart!

Well it was fun while it lasted
I really did deeply enjoy your comic but I understand that you have your own life and just don’t have the desire to complete pmd rad anymore
But if it’s okay with you could you not delete this comic? Even if you never update it again I still like it and would enjoy reading the work that you have made
the real squirtle
September 5th, 2018, 5:55 pm
Good luck, this comic got me into smackjeeves, so thank you for this comic
September 5th, 2018, 6:54 pm
Bit late so this comment probably wont get read STILL i feel i should say that whilst yes pokemon is what drew me to the comic, it was an awesome art style and rad (pun slightly intended) story that made me stick around and call this my favourite web comic (i was more into this than alot of manga and comics i read too). its sad to see this comic end but at the same time im happy to know that the author is making a business decision that will lead them to greater success and (hopefully) less anxiety. I look forward to whatever is in store (speaking of which is there some way i can follow author/artists as opposed to just their comics?)
TL:DR came for pokemon, stayed for author
Good luck and what twitter account do i follow? XD
September 7th, 2018, 5:55 pm
: I read all of the comments, actually. <3
I'm so glad you liked my work for all of it's contents(or most at least, lol).
If you like, my art twitter is @
, I post all of my art-related stuff there and will use it to plug my next comic when it starts posting.
Thank you very much for reading and enjoying what I've done. And for the support. I appreciate it. :)

: np, thanks for a great ride

I really loved following this comic and I'm sad I don't get to see more of this story. But I guess I can't say I wasn't worried all along when I'd be seeing this message. That's the nature of the beast, after all. To work so hard long-term on something that's not your own intellectual property... I don't know how so many artists do it.
I have a great deal of respect for anyone who can put this much dedication into their own work, especially doing so knowing you really can't make money off of it as a franchise. I suppose if I had any advice to give, it would be what you've already set into motion - if you can find a way to take that creative drive and inspiration and make something of your own out of it, you will find an audience.

I totally understand what you mean, and I agree, it's best to spend your time doing something you can really put your stamp on as your own and maybe make a profit out of. ^^ But, I will be very sad to see this comic go. It's gorgeous and the story really intrigues me! I've enjoyed following it up to the current point and appreciate the countless hours of work you've put in to making this gem. I wish you the absolute best of luck with your future comics!

Well it was a fun ride.. love this series even though it was a cliffhanger.. May they be in our hearts. As we make our own stories to see how it would unfold.
To the creator of this comic,
If it is possible, may you post the story about this comic u were trying to make. Like on some story posting website? Maybe.. it would be worth the while as others might help and resume your comic that way while crediting your work.
September 7th, 2018, 6:01 pm
: I dont really want anyone to "resume" my work, actually. There's a lot more to the story than just what happens in it, theres also how the characters are meant to be portrayed and how they react to things that I just really dont want to put into the trust of someone else to try to get it right. Although I've stopped this comic, I still really care about it and may be just a bit overprotective, lol.
if people want to write fics though I obviously cant and won't stop them ;)
That said, I'm working on compiling some summaries for all the different arcs. Its just a matter of doing it in a way that's coherent enough to be worth posting.

I'll miss this comic so MUCH,but,i respect your decision. I just want know who is Del's friend and why Rodney hate humans
September 7th, 2018, 3:17 am
I undestand about your decision and I want to say "Thank you" for all the thing you done to us like the comic and you spend alot of time just to let us see it, I just want to see why Rodney is mad at human.
September 7th, 2018, 7:55 am
Thank you for all the great joy and insperation your comic has brought us. I am sad to see it end, but I understand. I wish the best for you and whatever awaits you in the future ^^
September 8th, 2018, 9:31 am
Kind of funny how the last word of the official comic was "kill" and suddenly the comic is dead.
September 8th, 2018, 12:44 pm
hmm... the way i read it you still have quite a bit of script... perhaps it might be possible to hand it down… to find a succeser. someone who would be willing to continue the comic, in your place it might be a different art style, yes, but if it's still you're script, your ideas then it would still hold the same spirit. i don't know, honestly i hardly know anything about the making of comics, but it would still be a relief to see this comic go on even if it's through another artist.
September 8th, 2018, 2:14 pm
: I don't have a script. I have an outline, all the scripting and dialogue happened mostly on the fly, since I work better that way.
As I told someone else, I don't really want anyone to continue my work. There's a whole lot more to comics than just drawing and writing, and I shouldn't pass my failures off to the next guy to deal with.
That said, thank you for reading my work and liking it enough.
September 16th, 2018, 6:20 am
: alright i understand. you're being too hard on yourself though. i would hardly call this a failure. more of an... incomplete masterpiece. it was filled with good ideas, plot twists, likeable characters and some damn good art. seriously though. pokemon i used to dislike for their looks alone. you managed to make them look very appealing and even lovable.
you're good at what you do and i sure as hell hope that you can somehow turn comic making into a valid career. you deserve it

So many things to say
I have to admit I was one of the believers. I didn't think that the comic was going to end like this, or even remain in permanent stasis.
I remember the first webcomic I read ending, and gosh, it's all coming back now. It's a terrible feeling; I'm a real baby and getting choked up over this. But that's neither here nor there. Thanks for the journey while it lasted, Phantom. The story and characters were all beautiful.
I know you said you want to release a script of what would have happened, and of course, that's up to you. But what I think is that you shouldn't. Good ideas; good, well-executed plots and character arcs as defined as these are hard to come by in web comics nowadays. Save the ammunition.
...Heck, save some of the character designs! Del and Rodney look far enough deviated from their original designs that with a few tweaks, Old Man Nintendo probably wouldn't bat an eye.
Anyway, I came to the same realization you are now, like most other people are saying. Fan works are all well and good, but at some point, you just have to make it your own. Even if you keep the art style, or use the designs as jumping-off points, it's possible to make an ode to what you love while at the same time still making your own characters. Lord knows I draw enough stuff based off the games I love that I could re-create every franchise!
Let me wrap this up already; you are a wonderful artist and storyteller, and I'm going to miss this comic like no tomorrow. Even though it's over, I'm still going to keep it in my web comic folder! Don't let that make you think I won't also keep my eyes peeled for your next endeavor, though. Best wishes to you, Phantom.

Welp, it is pretty sad to see this amazing comic leave, but I respect that. While it does hurt after reading this comic for almost 2 years (I think), I can't wait to see what your both writing and artistic talent will go towards now. In any case, I'll support you all the way!
September 9th, 2018, 5:58 pm
Is there anything you can tell us about how it would've ended or at least more about the plot? I understand completely why you're not making any more of the comic, especially considering the lack of a profit, though the story is really great as well as the characters! I would love to know more about what would've been had it continued
September 10th, 2018, 12:20 pm
It's completely understandable to want or need to end a story, because it isn't fulfilling in the way you need it to be, or you just don't have the drive for it anymore, or whatever. I completely understand that, and I'm sure a lot of other readers do as well. Do what's best for you <3
While I'm sad to see the comic ending, I respect your decision and I wish you well in future endeavors - I'll gladly follow whatever else you have to give, if you plan on posting anymore here or if you have any other sites where you're active.
If you don't mind me asking, will we ever be able to read a breakdown/summary of the rest of the story anywhere, or is this the true end of it all here?
September 12th, 2018, 6:14 am
Bye and thanks for a great story and beautiful artwork, even if it remains unfinished.

I’ll be excited to see the new comic, and am happy for you furthering your career, but I’ll greatly miss Rodney and Avis...
September 14th, 2018, 4:34 pm
I'm sorry this is over but I can't help but feel that picture is Del telling Rodney Avis's secret
D:"So Avis is basically human."
R:"..." A:"Rodney?" R:"WHAT!!!"
(Del and Avis crack up)
September 14th, 2018, 11:52 pm
I do get why you are doing what you do, it is a lot of work for essentially nothing and I wish you the best of luck on future endeavors. But a lot of people here have really gotten attached to the characters and story. Is there any way you can give us the sequence of events that would have happened so that we can close our own chapter on this story?
September 14th, 2018, 11:55 pm
Oh pardon, I just read the rest of your description. There was more to it than I thought. Thanks for the future compilation, I look forward to seeing what you had in store.
September 16th, 2018, 9:28 pm
I know this sounds ungrateful but why can’t Rodney and Avis be together? Could you maybe do one more comic on that?
September 17th, 2018, 9:50 am
We still have victory fire
